Home Rapid pH balance Test Strip Kit

Vaginal Health (2 test)

Much like other parts of the body, a woman vaginal has a pH. A healthy vagina is slightly acidic, with a pH usually in the range of 3.5 to 4.5. The acidity of the vagina helps control bacteria and prevents the infection-causing types of bacteria.

When vaginal pH is not in the normal range, it may indicate an infection.

Kitty Candy ®️ Kitty Tester is based on a change of PH. After a sample is collected from the vagina using a swab, it is placed on the test that changes its color with a change of PH. Since the infection occurs at a different pH, we can determine if there is infection or not. There usually are symptoms with an infection.

Kitty Candy ®️ Kitty Tester is intended for use by women who have itching, burning, unpleasant odor or unusual discharge. Also, if you are curious about the pH balance range of your vagina.

Slide the pH test back and forth until you find the color on the pH guide that looks like the pH test. This number is your vaginal pH.

  • What does your result mean?

The range of the pH guide is from 3.8 to 5.2. Normal pH is 3.8-4.5. A pH of 4.6 -5.2 may indicate a vaginal infection. There usually are symptoms with an infection. A pH of 4.6-5.2 with the symptoms of itching, burning, unusual odor or discharge may be a yeast infection. Vital InformationNormal vaginal pH is 3.8 to 4.5, slightly acidic. Abnormal vaginal pH may be higher or lower than normal vaginal pH. High vaginal pH numbers indicate less acidity, while lower than normal vaginal pH levels indicate high acidity. Abnormal vaginal pH frequently indicates the presence of a vaginal infection.

However, you should know that not all vaginal infections cause changes to vaginal pH. This means that having a normal vaginal pH test does not mean that you do not have a vaginal infection. If your vaginal pH is above normal, the most likely reason is that you have bacterial vaginosis (BV) and not a yeast infection.
